Hard To Find

It's hard to find sweetness,
In a world so bitter.
Unforgettable pain and violence.
Tarnishing the lives of many,
To satisfy the power pangs of a few.

It's hard to find warmth,
From a heart so cold.
Indescribable loneliness and hopelessness.
Guarding the wronged,
To protect from further corruption.

It's hard to find any nutrients,
In a land so forgotten.
Unwarranted destruction and degradation.
Excavating to discover anew,
To achieve a bigger coin.

It's hard to find love,
In a soul so unforgiving.
Life changing heartbreak and heartache.
Unreliable feelings toward man,
To take heed and see if you can still feel.
