Beautiful

She cries desperate tears into her pillow
Wishing she could change her face and looks
She spends countless hours with the mirror
Inspecting all her crannies and nooks

She's so blind to the image she sees
Only seeing her imperfections and flaws
Maybe she's blinded by the tears in her eyes
As her heart battle on in this losing war

She lets what people say bring her down
Her mind is haunted by the cruel taunts
She starts to feel ashamed of the way she looks
She wishes she had what everyone else flaunts

She can buy all the make-up Rimmel can make
She can wear the right clothes and style her hair
But deep inside she's still so insecure
The feeling of self confidence is still so rare

What she doesn't realise is she's beautiful
No matter what any girl or boy says
The one thing that we all need to appreciate
Is we're all beautiful in every way
