Frustrated

Portrayal of an angel, but deceit resides within the man.
Trust turns to mistrust, truth becomes a lie.
Hope becomes fate, love becomes hate.
Plans for the future become a thing of the past.
He was proud to show I was his, now our future is a secret.
Sharing had its innocence, knowledge becomes dangerous.
Compliments flowed freely, insults become commonplace.
Feelings were important, now concerns are squashed.
Sharing was mutual, selfishness sets the precedence.
Happiness was a priority, misery is a requirement.
Patience and stability, anxious and unreasonable.
We were one, now it's two.
Marriage was planned, divorce is inevitable.
Money was not a factor, now it's the focus.
Supportive and understanding, cheap and uninterested.
House and kids are replaced with cars and toys.
Rainbows and sunshine become clouds and rain.
Dreams and preparation are cast to the wind.
Treasured and protected, hateful and disregarded.
