Raindrops

Watch the water as it escapes from its clouded entrapment
Can you hear the whispers of the wind?
As the day slowly ends
Listen to the rain tap dance on the roof in the middle of the night
As memories of yesterday pass by
And tomorrow anxiously awaits the warmth of the sun
Taking in the mystic aroma of the precipitation
As each drop penetrates the ground
Creating its own sound
As if it were a bass drum
I see the tears of the clouds as they lament
Forcing the animals to scurry for shelter
Raindrops are falling
Coming down harder than ever
However, I must admit
I enjoy listening to the skies as they bellow
With a thunderous roar
And I enjoy the view of the sky
As it displays its marvelous works of illumination
I watch the raindrops as they prance about
And put on a show
But once the curtains close
A vibrant star comes greets everyone with a
Hospitable Hello!
