Stuck

Have you ever felt like you are stuck at a point

where your whole world is upside down?

All you can do is frown

All these obstacles approach you

and your stuck trying to listen to these fools

your mind is so confused

dont know if they truly care

living your dreams in fear

all you can do is turn back and use

for that one little feeling of ease

and for your world to feel at peace

why cant no one truly see

the trobles you face on the inside

blocking the life you want to live by

each and everyday faced with choices

too weak to block out the voices

that are trying to pull you away

and block your success all the way

as i lay weakened, the days are still moving

and i have to question my decisions and what am i truly doing.

stuck on a path to destroy me

and i been too blind to see

got to be strong and pick up the pieces

all i can ask for is some help please.

what a brave and courageous poet you are, embarking on deeply profound verse, yet in simple language usage that pratically everyone can understand. Just excellent verse here. Thanks for sharing this morning read, these are the poems I look to read, of life's challenges and hopeful am I to a sequell that is uplifting a day to come! ..... Cindy

I'm not going to lie to you Amy. The best thing that I got from this poem is the line, "As I lay weakened, the days are still moving". To me, that was profound. As for the rest of the poem, it was just ok. But if you can get that ONE thing that makes people stop and think, then it was all worth while. I don't think you're stuck, I think you've found release. Thanks for making me think Amy. Rockman
