To My Friend Who Became An Angel

My heart has missing pieces
One now has your name
I know it’s not just me
I know others feel the same
I haven’t been to visit
Cause I still cant bare the pain
I still get the same feeling
Every time I hear your name

I guess I’ll have to write it
Until next time I see you
The pain im trying to fight it
But my skies are gray from blue
When I found out it was raining
And I was away from home
You wouldn’t know how much it hurt
To know your name was set in stone

I truly loved your smile
Your spirit was so bright
I asked him over and over
Was he sure the time was right
We argued everyday
Three years and he was wrong
The earth moved beneath me
Beautiful music was now a sad song

If only I had the courage
To tell you everything
I loved your smile and I loved your laugh
Allow me to say we miss you on others behalf

I hope you have found peace
In your castle made of gold
I hope your wings are beautiful
To match your loving soul
I hope some day you’ll read this
Before I take my final stroll
I hope you rest in peace,
you finally paid your toll
