Just a Thought
I sit here contemplating the demise,
Looking back at how hard I chased the prize.
Just to be shown that the prize was regret,
Caught in your web of pain and suffering
Watching how the stories changed to fit your advantage.
Used my compassion against me cause you saw how easy I was to hurt.
Took my care and used it as a missle.. My only disadvantage.
Held me at bay to come to the rescue
Until someone new came along and followed your cues.
I sympathize for him cause I know you....
Waiting for your Damocles sword to hang over his head,
Trapping him in your new web.
You've turned people against me and attempt to bait me
Using your sharp words because you think you're through with me.
I am through with you, No longer your saviour,
So when you end up back at the bottom theres no one left to save you.
I put everything I had into showing you my feelings,
Just to be thrown away like street trash.
I see the new game you play
So sorry for this I cant stay
Chase your new sucker
Your new fool to plunder.
And when he sets your mind on fire and leaves you to ashes.
Dont come find me... Cause I wont fix you.
Besides your new fool you can now live your new life..
Totally.... Alone.
