In Blindness

New Year’s Resolutions made in blindness
Will never evoke Thoughts Of Peace And Kindness
I Cannot Understand a scheme
That crushes peoples Awaiting Dreams
When all could show Tenderness And Love
As does our lord in heaven above
May Health And Happiness thrive this new year
Our Awaiting Dreams not be filled with fear
As we head into two thousand and seventeen
Let life be peace, love and nothing ever in-between

Not Quite

This is not quite the last one
This three hundred and sixty six days are gone
It started out as a bit of fun
Now it's over before it's begun
It started as one poem a day
Snowballing to a lot more I say
So as the year changes to two thousand seventeen
Don't think the last of me you've seen
There may be less of me to see
But I'll still be writing poetry

Without Fuss

The Tides Of Time wash over us
As New Year’s Dawn arrives without fuss
From New Year’s Eve partied story
A New Year in our lord’s glory
Resolutions for New Year’s Expectations
Thoughts of good time and vacations
New Year’s Roses bloom in new year’s light
It all starts after twelve o'clock tonight

The End
