'til Our Lives Are Through

"I sit here alone on a cold dark night,
wishing you were here holding me tight.
The warmth of your touch and the taste of your kiss
sends my heart to a place where I've truly found bliss.

Your whispers so soft and caring embrace,
the look of affection and love on your face,
the way that you hold me so close to your heart,
tells me that nothing could lead us apart.

There's no one who I'd rather be with at night,
to wake up besinde in morning's first light,
than the person whom warms me with only a touch.
The person I love oh so very much.

By a warm fires glow we'll cuddle as one,
and gaze at each other for our loves begun.
It's growing so strongly by each passing day.
Showing the path and guiding the way.

To the future when we'll be together at last,
together as one, fogetting the past.
When obstacles stood out in every which way,
it's now that I look at you ready to say:

I love you my baby, I need you tonight,
holding me close and making things right.
We'll stare in each others eyes watching the tears,
roll down our cheeks, remembering the years.

When love was so distant and gradually seemingless,
hoplessly blind, confusingly meaningless,
distant and cold like a dark winter day,
with no one to hold us, to show us the way.

To a great place where true love is found everywhere,
in a land where there's nothing to make us feel scared,
with angels and rainbows that lead me to you,
the person I'll love 'til my life is through.

I sit here and wonder if this has been fate
that brought us together not a moment to late.
We're bound to each other, forever to live,
happily together for my heart I'll give.

To the one who completes me whom I cheerish dear
all my love I will give you year after year.
I'll hold you so gently so lovingly near
making you laugh and catching your tears.

To my love, you complete me with compassionate lust
to have and to hold, to honor and trust.
I wait for the moment we both say I do
to live happily together 'til our lives are though."
