For Our Son
Our dear sweet baby boy,
Mommy and Daddy love you so.
I hope we can do all we can,
To make you happy and not sad.
As we watch you laugh and grow,
We hope that you will always know,
That you can be anything you want to be.
You will have some rough times to go through,
But always remember we are here for you.
Don’t be afraid to take risks in life,
Because nothing is a sure thing.
Make sure that whatever you do,
Makes you happy and not blue.
And always give 100 percent,
Because you will regret it if you didn't.
Remember girlfriends may come and go,
But friends are forever.
And when you find that special girl,
Remember that love is unconditional.
Don’t be afraid to tell us anything,
We may get disappointed at times,
But we will love you no matter what.
Through the good times and the bad.
