Euphoric Love

When I look into your eyes I see rapture.
I see a heavenly soul, God’s capture.
I see all the hopes and dreams of all that’s living.
I see all the talents of De Vinci that’s been hidden.

When I hear your voice, I hear an angel take flight.
I hear a cool fresh, breeze that goes whispering in the night.
You‘re sent from the heavens, an angel serenely speaks.
And a rose drives its way through the concrete.

When I touch your hands, it as though I’m touching my dreams.
Imagining Niagara Falls watching the water flow from the stream.
As I let your hands free it is though I’m awakening from a trance
Leaving the ballroom floor abandoning the last dance.

Your love is uplifting; I’m soaring alongside a raven.
Instilling all my love and trust inside of your haven.
The laws of gravitation your love defies.
The strength of a thousand men couldn’t keep me from the skies.

Within your euphoria I’m held captive.
I’m numb to the world the usual is no longer active.
I never imagined that a love so euphoric would be in my grasp.
Clinging on to more than I can handle even what your love can surpass.
