My words

My words.
When I’m trying to sleep, my head is full of words,
With my head spinning, wanting them out,
So here I am trying again,
To find the words, so hear me out.
I’m shy most the time, keeping my words in,
Scared to say the wrong words, and hurt your feelings,
So I observe what people do, learning how to act,
Trying to get by, without going back.
I’m learning to find my voice, although it may be weak,
I’m learning to smile, even when I feel beat,
My kids are growing, too fast to keep up,
With a blink here and there, they grew up.
I’m getting old, I definitely feel it,
For whenever I move, my body will click,
I love feeling free, on the back of the bike,
With the winds flowing through me, as I hold on tight.
Chris is my world, we make each other better,
Our bike rides, have brought us closer,
But I’m still this shy woman, who struggles to hold on,
Who loves him so dearly, hoping nothing will go wrong.
So that is my life, I have friends too,
Just never know who, for I upset a lot of people,
Just for being me, Hiding away most of the time,
Forgetting the world exists, including messaging you.

The spirits told me to do this, should help clear my head,
Letting out my words, Hoping they get spread,
To send some light your way, with all the struggles you have got,
Hoping for a better day, oh I almost forgot.
I have a kitten, called misty however she is a missy,
So that is my life, I’m proud of my family,
I have done quite well, for they are mostly happy,
Just personalities clashing, now and again.
Just remember to take a breath, look at what you have made,
Now share your love, to the ones that drive us insane,
For they are a part of us, with their own clever brains.
