Would you

Would you be mad if I picked up the bottle?
Would you cry if I were to die
Lost to the cradle of death

Would you hold me close as I cry?
Would you hum me to sleep
As I softly weep?

Would you comfort me through the sorrow
Beg me to see tomorrow?
And I ask one more time, would you?
