What do you mean?

What do you mean I left everything I know and love and started new
What do you mean the few I called friends times are due
What do you mean my animals are back at home
I’m crying because I feel alone
What do you mean I’m going on a tour in June
One I planned with three friends then it was just two
Then soon two became undone
So I was forced to find someone before the clock hit noon
What do you mean school ended
I just moved here some people were just befriended
What do you mean I’ll be a senior
9 more months then things are cleaner
Did I say cleaner I meant meaner
Life goes on and now I’m seen
I’m finally seen as a marine
What do you mean my four years are up
What did you not have enough ?
No I did
But life moves fast
When is it that my time will last
In a crowd filled with love
What do you mean that’s not a dove
A swan appeared in a lake
Showing colors that are not fake
Now I’m questioning is this fate
Fast forward five more years
Said F three times and now I’m here
Three kids and one more on the go
Finally a place I’d love to call home
With a view so bright
And a life that I had to fight
I finally made it to the end
Looking up at the night sky
Jocelynn’s cafe has finally been signed
Big opening on a Tuesday afternoon
I made this plan when I was seventeen knowing it would come soon
Thank you universe for my life
A life that hasn’t started yet but I’ll make it right
Now let me say goodnight ??
