London

They see it as aesthetically pleasing
The interconnection of a cultural clash
Making diverse diasporas meet
Distinctive city made out of filthy cash
They see the blacktop streets absorb the spring sunshine, I’d admit This city has made it far
But The way the media portray London, is nothing but a filthy facade

They see the TFL system as vintage but innovative
But that’s expectations vs reality
Only by the grace of sanitation does the tube exist at all
And those TFL strikes are restricting our vitality
Its time to face reality.

I see London as a territory of tension, trauma and apprehension
Lungs as well as roads congested, but somehow also desolated
A place where a human can feel an attachment to the nature, but somehow humanly alienated
And are those big red buses they fantasize really cozy or claustrophobic?
Well that depends if there’s a psycho on it
Were taught to mind our business, not to show were petrified inside
They say this rarely happens, but in London its normalised.

And as a student,
The government making maths compulsory is useless.
Now London is a field full of soulless and fatalistic students
Left with a small future and a smaller inspiration
Making them suicidal and clueless.
