My Daughter

Beautiful, precious, daughter of mine
How I hate to see you grow
Seems like only yesterday I gave birth to you and now you're 20 years old.
You've got me so many things as time has flewn on by
You taught me how to love someone so much it makes me cry every time.
My Sierra Michelle, God's gift from above
I hope you know more than anything that you have all of your mama's love.
There's so many regrets I have, so many things I didn't do right
So many times you've seen me fail and times I was nowhere in sight.
True says, I've always been so proud of you and the amazing child you were and I'm still just as proud of you as the day I gave birth.
I'll never give up on getting closer to you and learning everything there is to know make sure to show you all the love that I once really didn't show.
Now you have your own precious one who you adore from head to tiny toe,
Now you understand the love it takes and the heartache to feed him grow.
I've let you down so many times, the trust you had for me is gone so please give me one more chance to try and rebuild our bond.
If I could do it all over again I changed so many things but most of all, I'd make sure you knew you're my everything.
Right or wrong I have your back because that's what Mama's do and share the day you bury me I'll never stop loving you
