Another Day

A brand new day another chance to start all over again
asking God to first forgive me of all of my sins
on you i can always depend
help me lord on this day
to assist my fellowman along the way
shape me mold me you are the potter i am the clay
thanking him for food, clothes and a place to lay
let whatever come or whatever that may
to you i will always pray
when my clouds become dark and gray
send a little of the suns ray
away from you Lord i don't want to stray
in contact with you i will always stay
i want to do your will and follow your way

Ilove calling on your holy name
you never change you always remain the same
from healing the sick and helping the lame
your name i will always proclaim
through the heartaches and even through the pain
weather it through sunshine or rain
i don't want my living to be in vain

i will continue to walk with you
do whatever you need me to do
follow ever plan to make sure that it goes through
you've done so much for me my faith has grew and grew
i feel like a new person brand new
before you came into my life didn't have a clue
all of my trials and tribulations no one knew
my love for you is very genuine and very true

thank you for make me whole again
leaving behind a life of sin
i have a new best friend
my broken heart you mend

it's been another day that God has been so good to me
opening up my blinded eyes so that I can see
loosing up the binds of life so that I may be free
he heard my cry and he heard my plea
i will have a little talk with him down on my knees
