Good Morning

Eyes still shut my mind begins to race 
A familiar awakening and endless chase
Toward the feeling of emptiness, feeling of pain
With the ultimate goal to starve my brain 

Replaying yesterdays failures and feelings of regret 
Eating dinner and dessert, immediately upset
Strong feelings of glut, feelings of pain
With the ultimate goal to starve my brain 

Just get out of bed, let the shower run 
Over your morbid body and hideous buns
Wash away yesterday's joy, now try to abstain 
With the ultimate goal to starve my brain
