The Mystery of Space

A place where the unknown is common
Where galaxies branch across the darkness
only branching the surface with how far we have gotten
A mix of mystery harmful and harmless
We must continue to venture
To fufill our endevor

Stars so distant paint the night sky
Each one providing beauty to the human eye
Stretching to ranges we cannot imagine
Brightening up the sky in its own fashion
What lies beyond we do not know
But from what we’ve seen its truly a show

Supernovas glorifying the quiet of the void
The beauty of the stars must be enjoyed
White dwarfs pacing towards the end of their lives
Becoming nothing but remenants and distant archives
Craters littering the surfaces of various moons
As the marks made become nothing more than ruins

What remains a Balance of darkness and light
Black Holes suppressing the beauty of the night
Meteors, comets and asteriods too
Traveling from galaxies old and new
The beauty of the solar system
Remains the home of our kingdom

Earth remains the place of our stay
The home of life on display
Green and blue brighten our planet
That we are so fortunate to inhibit
So while we seek the mysteries of the unknown
It is important to take time to appreciate our home
