I'Ve Heard People Say
I have heard people say
"This is not the right way, you must wait for another day."
But why should I not say
What my heart and mind is being compelled to lay...
After all its my day and THIS is indeed MY WAY.
Neither does their talk, nor does their hatred matter to me
Its MY lil' world that U are tryna' control
And that's the Irony
I have got no regrets for the past
And no plans for the future too
But, I've got a beautiful present
And I want to live in it ignoring everyone
No matter who...
I may not be the most righteous
But I know my way to reach out to that day
When each of these people would say...
May be my way's the way to earn it and sway.
Attitude, they say is quite high in me
My ego is their all time enemy
But... Isn't respect for urselves important for u guys
So that u may see beyond the attitude and ego to find overwhelming confidence in my eyes ...
I believe to be a diamond in a world of pearls
To shine out amongst all, inspite of these life curls
I am a WARRIOR and this is my identity
And I am no more just a living entity...
I have got my highs and my shortcomings too
But in this world no one's perfect. Are you??
I've learnt to speak up in the toughest of times
To drain all my emotions through these rhymes...
To single handedly defend myself has been tough though...
But that's always the climax of life's lovely show.
To all those who believe I have changed–
Yes I have. But for good
And this transformation will complete when all my negativity would go away...
YES, IT SHOULD and IT WOULD...
Thoughts— mine and urs may never again have a reunion
Coz DEAR YOU ! I'm not a statue. I have my own opinion
I am that butterfly in this beautiful sky
Whose beauty for all is a source of joy.
I am that ray of sunshine that's been up there all the time
It's not easy to bow me down
For me, I am a queen, maybe this time without a crown...
But always with a smile, and never a frown.
My life's the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me
And this is what I want the entire world to see
I have my dreams and my aspirations too
And my strength is surely greater than you
So, to all those who believe their sayings MATTER
Sorry, no longer guys
Coz its me who has changed for the BETTER.
