The Little Pup

On the red roofs,
We heard pattering hooves.
When we looked up,
We saw a little pup.
It was so cute,
No matter how we became mute.
Its tiny nose,
Was as red as a rose.
It stared at us with its black eyes,
Which looked as cool as ice.
Then it looked at me and with one huge jump,
On my hands it landed with a bump.
It was so small,
It loved to play with a ball.
Then it licked my face,
And pulled my shoelace.
Then I went in and got some milk,
And a small shirt made of silk.
We became the best of friends,
And this is how my poem ends.
