Arkham Assylum
No smile is ever more so bright,
Than a lunatics so void of light.
All the signs could not be ignored,
As I'm rendered a stately ward.
Confined with nothing but the smell,
Of Gotham's worst straight out of hell.
Killers, maniacs...profile em.
Welcome to Arkham Asylum.
The walls are nothing as the seem.
Dead silence is filled with a scream.
But I'm always with a good friend.
So the Doctor lets me pretend.
When potions are all left futile,
Electrodes do their best a while.
I'm so lucky to be a part,
Of a zealots dead a black heart.
I envy and hate him so much.
He divinely gives God's own touch.
Patience I don't have anymore!
What else is there left to look for?
I've done my best to help abide!
Now my worst I can't keep inside!
I hate this cursed and wretched place!
I'll see the life flee from his face!
Soon enough what then will he do,
When he's stuck in another shoe?
Beg and scream in tears will he cry,
As he begs for a chance to die.
No! never! That is all behind!
A cure is all I seek to find!
With effort and help I receive,
This is the lie they'll all believe!
At least enough to make them think,
That I've never been on the brink!
At last before I leave this place,
I'll carve a smile on every face.
