The Dark
Masked in the presence of negativity,
One struggles to find clarity.
You face it when you are awake,
you escape it when the eyes are closed,
and yet, must endure the harsh reality.
As ridiculous as it sounds,
people think it is silly.
It pains like normal wounds,
for some it remains deadly.
The dark rules,
not for long,
just until the light appears.
