In the Fable of Thought

I thought the two of us would walk the path together,
Riding on the horse of the fairy bird king.
We will be lost in the white clouds and the sky,
I thought we would build a house on that distant hill
And we'll talk about the fairy tale all night long,
I thought I'd tell you this when I had time,
But the time has passed
You know, I didn't understand in any way.
Although you are now someone's fairy tale fairy
The boat of your love is floating in the river
I never understood what love is,
But seeing you in someone else's fairy tale,
Felt like something is hurting inside me.
I know, like me, you made your own fairy tale
I thought I would ask you if my character was there !!

Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.

I enjoyed your poem. Most fairy tales end with happy ends, yours was sad. Well, written. Welcome to Poetry Soup. Write on! Blessings ~ Debra
