Broken

I told you I was broken
Need I say more
I told you you wouldn't want me
The same as before

I told you I was broken
Here in my heart
You didn't want to believe me
Now we're drifting apart

I told you I was broken
You said that it was fine
You told me we would take it
One day at a time

I told you I was broken
Beaten, damaged, and bruised
And like all the others
You're getting sick of me too

I told you I was broken
I told you I was lost
Now I'm left here waiting
Drowning in my thoughts

I told you I was broken
That you should walk away
I told you I was broken
You promised me you'd stay

I told you I was broken
What more do I say
Now I fear losing you
Every single day
