Not Cinderella

Cinderella had a breakdown after her marriage of a year,
 There were No fairytales here,
No happy ever after,
Reality her marriage a was disaster,
Charming was a monster who never came home,
But atleast he couldn't hit her,
she d rather he stayed gone,
When he did stop by,
He always blacked an eye,
it's her own fault u see,
If she would just let him be,
Everything would be great,
 they'd live happy,
Reality shows alot clearer,
In shards of broken mirror,
As she cleans them off the floor,
She doesn't even really want to live anymore,
Tears pouring down her face,
It's so humiliating an utter disgrace,
So she hides the bruises and tells lies,
Not for his protection only,
To keep up her disguise,
As the girl who got it all,
The fairytale wife,
The weight of her crown grows heavy on her head,
As she lies awake at night alone in her bed,
She knows eventually the truth will come out,
And the world will know she defective no doubt,
Her flaws exposed they'll see,
what forever was about,
It really is the fact that she rules all alone,
It breaks her heart to know her palace is no home,
Seems such a waste to will a soulf to life,
And then damn it to misery with out thinking twice..
