The Distruction

A happy day a happy life
A man was out with his wife
He was nature she was sky
In the old times as it was,
Beautifully green and blue is what they were
But Now their appearance made them cry,
The sky turned black and land barren,
To them, the ones responsible weren’t foreign
The married couple was furious,
And only one specie was to blame,
The ones who didn’t care
The ones who live only for fame.
Nature was a blessing which was to be treated with respect
But the heartless creatures did the opposite
They deserved to experience its effect
It was finally time to let them bare their punishment
A long overdue chastisement
Overnight the world took a gigantic turn
For centuries, humans had tortured the pair for no fault of their own
Now they were taking revenge from the guilty accused and even innocent
They locked them up and threw away the key,
The ones who escaped were seriously maimed
The duo tried to make them feel shamed
But the mortals were living in their own little world
In which they did no wrong and everything dazzled
‘Oh’ the old couple said is frustration
‘They never learn; It’s like they are awaiting their destruction
And their crimes will have to be payed by the next generation’

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed. (Destruction is, not distruction)
