I Wish

I wish we would never cross the same lane
I wish you would never experience the same pain,
The sensation is horrible
You would want to die
It is not tolerable
Like your last good bye,

You said 'I will leave you never'
I wished it was true
I never thought you were so clever
I never even got a clue,

I wanted to block the memories I had of you
And stop making the plans
That are never going to be true,

I swear if you would have looked in my eyes
You would have heard those cries
That were screaming at you to stay
Which in words can never be said,

I never cried and I will never cry in front of you
But from deep inside you also know I love you,

And one day there will be death
The waiting last breath....
