Your Skin

Look into my eyes and tell me what you see.
The heart and mind of one’s unblemished simplicity.

They don't see me as the high man nor woman.
But one that is afraid to live in her own skin.

Black and beautiful yet.
Let words break her down…

Little girl why won’t you stop this mess!

Then again,
Who hurt you?
You say it’s the one who birthed you ?

Beat and felt that you didn't deserve to be
Who me?

I chill and smile in the arms of thee.
I laugh..haha because you claim such false accusations against me.

Such words make me cry.
Wonder why?

You say I slept with that guy.
OH!

Do you have evidence to show ?!
No ?

Let us make this case closed.
And kill all those words that you try to impose...into my throat.

Caused a whole situation of drama and hate.
Yet what do you call love when you try to push it on me the last date.

6/15/2020
the last day my skin would get to feel the lashes of many.
