A Walk With Jesus
A WALK WITH OUR LORD
Walking through the desolate plains,
I’m feeling the weight of the world and its pains.
My brain is cluttered with cares of the week,
My body is heavy from the “comforts” I seek.
I pray to Our Lord for the TRUE comfort that heals,
That is His Peace……that I long to feel.
With each step I take, He answers my prayer,
I see His Sweet Presence everywhere!
The birds that are dancing around in the sky,
The silly rabbits than run….and then want to hide.
If I had closed my eyes, I could have missed!
This desolate land has just been kissed!
The beauty of a flower that blooms in the desert,
Is like a hug from Our Lord who is ALWAYS present!
Just as a flower needs light to grow,
We, too, need light when feeling so low.
The Light of The Lord is the answer you see,
His Love ignites our soul…for you and for me!
Into a flame, deep in our heart
We tap into the LIGHT whom we are a part!
The Light of The Lord is of MERCY and LOVE,
With endless amounts, poured from above!
So may His Light within us shine SO bright,
That when it is seen, HIS LOVE IGNITES! ??
