Am I To Understand

Am I to understand
The cards held in her hand
As they're famously fanned?
No choice, I have to stand.
Am I to understand?
She, singer for the band,
Must have had it all planned,
Took everything, each strand.
Am I to understand?
Where's McNally? Where's Rand?
Where's home and native land?
Has the purchase been scanned?
Am I to understand?
God, she's beautiful tanned,
A peach that can't be canned,
She can leave me unmanned.
Am I to understand?
Like glass returned to sand,
Bacon 'bout to be panned,
She can leave me unmanned.
Am I to understand?

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
