Our First Date

As I pulled into the parking lot the sun just started to set. I walked over to your car and the light of the setting sun set the tone of such a beautiful moment; as we embraced I couldn’t resist the desire to hold you close... When I gave you the yellow roses I saw your beautiful eyes dancing in the setting sun light as well as your gorgeous smile and heard the tenderness in your voice as you said thank you. We walked hand-in-hand into a quaint little place and ordered our drinks and then sat down on a couch. With my arm around you I was in paradise because I knew I cared for you and you cared for me too. As I gaze into your beautiful eyes my beating heart melted in there deep within me a new sense or feeling arose. It was something I had never felt before; it was new, beautiful, warm, and even exciting. It was a feeling of love and compassion that had never existed before. As I kissed you on the forehead I knew what had happened, but that exact moment my heart was telling me that it was okay for me to be happy again. A feeling of peace and love came flowing into my heart and it felt warm, exhilarating, and calming. As I looked at you I saw you as God sees you; beautiful, sweet, caring, compassionate, smart, and above all.. the love He has for you because you are His ¡Hermosa princesa y hija! You’re more beautiful than any sunset I have ever seen and as we walked back to your car all I wanted to do was make that moment last forever. As I held you near I whispered in your ear, “This is the part I hate the most, I don’t want to say goodbye.” You said to me, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later!” As I held you tight I kissed you on your cheek and you kissed mine. That’s when I knew you were my ¡Hermosa princesa! You have my heart and I can’t wait to see you soon.. All because of our first date at a quaint little place called fiiz! ¡Te quiero mucho Princesa!
