The Hardest Challenge Brought Out the Best In Me

Life is not a simple path
It has many twists and turns
Neither it is a bed of flowers
It gives you very painful burns.

Challenges are a part of life
There are many crossroads in the way
But we are the fighters of our life
And we will win at the end of the day.

I still remember those odd times
Which are now the olden days
But they taught me the rules of life
My very precious golden days.

Those are the times when I sat alone
My life was full of depression
I had forgotten the faces with
Beautiful smiling expression.

I thought to end my life that day
With my courage being very low
But something happened that very day
That my heart replied to me a NO!

I saw an ant climbing up the wall
It failed every time it climbed
But failure was it’s biggest strength
It didn’t stop to fight

It failed to climb several times
But never say down to cry
It’s potential was not so weak
It gave every time it’s best try.

Finally it climbed up the wall
Which left me shocked and stun
That day I realised the fact
Life is a race and you have to run.

I won over my mental depression
And came out with a smiling face again
I regained my inner strength
To forget my old pains.

Nothing is impossible
To which I totally agree
The hardest challenge of my life
Brought out the best in me.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
