The Color of Love

The Color of Love

When death chooses the right man,
The man who left his footprints in our sand.
It’s hard to understand why he’s gone,
And questions arise was death Wrong?

My heart then feels heavy and then my mind gets weak,
Then death says subliminally“what is it you seek”?
I was stun after the question was ask of myself,
Then boldly I said “more time would have helped”.
Death replied time is no essence when life decides to
leave,

“But our hearts are full of sadness and we have to grieve”.
Then death stated, “grieving is part of healing, allow love
to walk with you and caress what you’re feeling”.
I now understand what Death was saying,
It was original but yet I still embrace the pain.
Love step in and encourage my soul,
He said my child allow me to fill that hole,
Now I see why we hold on to the memories,
It allows the color of Love to eternally embrace me.
