The Sea

What do you see
When you look into the sea?

Do you see deep greens and blues
Reflecting back up at you?

Or do you go farther to where the fishes dwell,
Wishing you could hear the stories hat they tell.

Do you stare above the water, into the setting sun?
Or do you stay at the shore, having a little fun?

Do your eyes follow the seagulls, circling over head?
Or come to rest on the couple waiting to be wed.

Clouds set in, and the shores begin to bare,
Yet still you stand, without a single care.

So when you get a chance, and look into the sea,
Tell me my friend, what is it that you see?
