The Storm

The storm overhead slowly edges over you without you noticing.
The eerie storm and its clouds starve you of the sunshine you once got so much of.

The storm goes and the sunshine, back again; but never long. Day after day the dread of the impending storm leaves you reluctant to enjoy the blistering sunshine.

Dark clouds during the early morning and the late night leave you powerless and unable to go about your day, the rain is constant and the loud thunder that accompanies it rings in your ears.
The storm is ever present. You retreat behind walls and under blankets only for the storm to grow bigger and the noise to grow louder leaving you unable to even gather your thoughts.

The storm leaves you in alone, in darkness; nobody around.
