A New Promise

I know the pain that burns within your heart
I know how betrayal and heartbreak hurt
I know that you should grieve away the loss
I know that I can comfort you in a time of remorse
But still morn, cry, grieve and release the pain
So that you will not loss your sanity and became insane

I know I can only promise a better tomorrow
One that is less painful and has no sorrow
A new promise of happiness and love's light
A new promise of us walking in God's sight
When tomorrow is not bright we'll face it together
When darkness tries to engulf our love,we'll fight either...

I know that nothing will again be the same
I know am not rich or a person of such fame
But still the little I have is enough and infinity
As long as you are by my side and love me for eternity
I promise you a better life, every single day
I promise you my love for you is here to stay
I know my promises are like drops of water in an ocean
Empty and endless yet true in every sense;I'll be your lean

I know you can no longer hold on to promises of such pace
My love fears not life's brutal lace
But you are the air I breath beneath the graves
You are the wings that make me fly above the caves
Am no longer free am like a bird in a cage
I know the promises I made are a source of your rage
I promise you a new promise of ruthless death
I promise you a new promise of all my wealth

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
