Why Me

I found two friends who turned on me,
How can this be.
Frightened to leave the house,
Like a scared little mouse.
Then the texts came in,
And suddenly I was ill the next day.
How long will this go on,
I really need to tell someone.
Why is this happening to me,
Of all people why me.
Off to prison,
Where I shall stay hidden.
I have just been punched,
I need to stay hunched.
Mr Bully is all big and strong,
Maybe he will move to Hong Kong.
I'm never going back to school,
I'll be a fool.
They can't make me,
Now Mr Bully is in glee.
Can't tell my mum,
She'll go glum.
I wish this would end,
Then I would attend.
It is time to tell,
Maybe the teacher will yell.
My friend could do it,
Nobody will know.
Now it is all being sorted,
Maybe Mr Bully will be transported.
Mr Bully is now gone,
Maybe I could go back like a swan.

sometimes life is answer-less question

The feelings you have expressed need to be brought to the attention of the right adults IMMEDIATELY, the minute it happens. I teach children how to be leaders, and be upstanders rather than bystanders. The bullies are the ones who use the term "snitches". I tell the children I teach that the bullies count on intimidation, so no one sees their sadness. Nicely penned! Welcome to PoetrySoup.
