Why
The need for understanding is at hand
Uncertainty revels in the mind unplanned
Searching through the past for moments
Unknowingly having it all omniscience
Through the joy and heartaches one withstood
An undying love that is known to the brotherhood
Never questioned did I assume your role
By my side through all, you helped console
In the darkest of hours, we were tested
With bitter angst we, I, rejected
Ending a lifetime of bonding and memories
Through a simple conversation of apparent ease
With a newfound purpose and willingness to feel
An apology was only the formality of what was surreal
Never did anyone falter from the true purify
Again, one will never need to know why
