Past Present and Future

Bowls of cherries and spilled milk he would be for night and day
As the torture never starts to fade content to forever stay
Forcing an outward personification so none other would be able to tell
But take a glimpse below the skin and what glares back is a living he'll
A quarter of a year has passed now since my love has done the same
I would like to think I am getting better or just becoming numb now to the pain
I have been told there is no peace only acceptance and resolve
I guess that's better than some of my thoughts which I will.dare not speak of
I was taking life for granted and I know this as a fact
I was strolling blindly along when Karma stabbed me in the back
I vowed to myself that life I would not keep living the same
Now I am taking chances acting a fool and being whimsical at this game
I suggest you to throw caution to the wind because fear is the only thing to fear
Or stay the same and have a life's worth of regrets when your end draws near
