You said we’d still
hang out and that
was cool but I ain’t
nobody’s fool.

You said you’d still
be there for me but
you’re not around as
far as I can see.

You said we could
still be friends but
it’s over when the 
relationship ends.

You said that things 
wouldn’t change if
that’s true why you
acting strange.

You said you’ll always 
love me but this hurt
I will never ever be
free.

I Was Willing To

I was willing to fall
for the lie in order
to be famous and
have it all.

I was willing to send
all of my money just
to have fame and a 
happy end.

I was willing to believe
I have a true gift just
to have some award right
through it they could see.

I was willing to give 
them my poem just cause
I wanted to be known a good
life I wanted to live.

I was willing to tell them
It was okay I had no idea
Through the trap I almost
fell.
