You

Some things about you I've come to know.
To you this I bestow.
More precious than any stone, a queen that grants power to the throne.
More lovely than a flower, a goddess that possesses unlimited power.
More sweet than any candy, a drug stronger than brandy.
More beautiful than Aphrodite, a Holier power than god almighty.
More adorable than a puppy, a woman that turns me to putty.
That's what you are.
You're more beautiful than any moon or star.
So perfect in every way.
Once I'm yours I'm here to stay.
As long as you'll have me.
You make me feel so carefree.
You're the oxygen in my breath.
With no you it'd mean certain death.

Confession

I lay awake, wishing you were here.
My love for you an endless sphere.
My confession you need to hear.
I love you so and hold you dear.
My heart rate quickens when you're near.
The idea of us seems crystal clear.
I promise you these words sincere.
Losing you is my greatest fear.

Never has there been a love so pure.
Of all things I've never been so sure.
You're my drug that has no cure.
All the the trials I will endure.
For your love I must procure.
I'd do anything for mi amor.
I'd even knock on heavens door.

Let Go

I love you more than words can tell.
Without you I go through hell.
Hanging on to what you said.
I lie awake in my bed.
Crash and burn; stuck in my head.
My mind so full of dread.
Wondering if it's me you'll choose.
Or if I'm the one who's left to lose.
The feelings I have keep growing.
If it's not me, let me down now.
Because at this point I can't help showing.
Or at least I'm not sure how.
To stop these feelings from towing.
From the depths of my heart I give you this vow.
I will love you unconditionally.
I will love you for eternity.
I'll keep you safe.
Because it's me you saved.
So please pick me.
Or leave me be.
I can't take the torment.
These feelings hit like torrents.
Please let me know.
Is this real or should I just let go?

Last Chance

The one I've loved for oh so long.
Your voice is an angelic song.
I know this time I can't be wrong.
I'd all but given up on love.
You're the only one I'm thinking of.
A true gift from God above.
When we kissed it felt so right.
I want to hold you oh so tight.
You had me flying like a kite.
The tought of you sets my world afire.
You easily tore down my spire.
It's your love I wish to acquire.
When I think of you I start to dance.
I swear you have me in a trance.
When it comes to love I promise you're my last chance.

The End

So I sit here, all alone.
Hoping your name shows upon my phone.
I wait and wallow in misery.
Waiting for the day you'll finally see.
What it is you mean to me.
The sun goes dark.
The air grows stale.
We'll soon embark.
An age old tale.
With no you I'll always fail.
The sweet embrace.
A lovers taste.
Death comes slow.
Or so I'm told.
The sun is low.
My skin is cold.
I accept this lonely fate.
Since it's me you'll never date.
All alone.
Skin torn to the bone.
I wonder why.
Could I not be the sun for your sky.
I wanted to brighten your world.
But my destiny came unfurled.
Greeting death like a friend.
My life had no meaning in the end.

Not Good Enough

Never good enough.
Life's so rough.
Waste away in vain.
Wallow in the pain
One last breath.
Before my death.
Still it's you upon my mind.
When I think I'm doing fine.
You're my crack.
Cut me slack.
I'm stuck.
In a rut.
You're always there.
You're everywhere.
I see you in the sun.
I see you in children having fun.
I smell you in the air.
I feel you when I brush my hair.
I can't erase you from my mind.
Just as I thought I was doing fine.
So, one last breath before I die.
I should've known it was all a lie.

Him

He's the one you hold so dear.
I'm the one you tell your fear.
He's the one that gets your love.
I'm the one who's deprived of.
He's the one who treats you bad.
I'm the one left feeling sad.
He's the one you go home too.
I'm the one who holds no value.
He's the one you choose.
I'm the one left to lose.
I'll never matter in your eye.
No matter how hard I try.
He's the only one you see.
I'm the one left lonely.
Always believing every lie.
Now it's time for me to die.
