Not Good Enough

Never good enough.
Life's so rough.
Waste away in vain.
Wallow in the pain
One last breath.
Before my death.
Still it's you upon my mind.
When I think I'm doing fine.
You're my crack.
Cut me slack.
I'm stuck.
In a rut.
You're always there.
You're everywhere.
I see you in the sun.
I see you in children having fun.
I smell you in the air.
I feel you when I brush my hair.
I can't erase you from my mind.
Just as I thought I was doing fine.
So, one last breath before I die.
I should've known it was all a lie.
