MOTHERS:
All they ever do is raise.
And never stop to praise.
They always seem to care.
And never once you find them tear.
No matter how much we do them wrong.
They always love us as their favourite biltong.
They’ll always have golden hearts.
And make sure you miss their parts.
Never once they tell a lie.
Unless it’s to protect your eye.
You won’t need to stand in a line.
Course maybe you’re kind of pine.
I promise you once she’s ready,
She’ll be the perfect remedy

Now it seems like the past
So quick so fast
Left no chance to say goodbye
I no longer soar so high
Sometimes I wish it was just a lie
And they would all come back
And have my back
Throw my sorrows into a sack
Save me from any attack
Now it seems like the past
So quick so fast
It took all my loved ones away
And left me fading away
They have disappeared into different places
Now I’ll never see those faces
For they have lost their aces
And time no longer chases.

WE BOTH KNOW
WHAT WE BOTH FELT
WE WERE NEVER WRONG
WHAT WRONG DID WE COMMIT?
WE GAVE LOVE A CHANCE
NOBODY UNDERSTOOD US
NOBODY EXPLAINED WHY
IT WASN’T A CO-INCIDENT
IT WAS NEVER A MISTAKE
IT WAS WHOLE HEART GIVEN LOVE
WHERE DID IT ALL GO WRONG?
LIFE ON EARTH NEVER GAVE US A CHANCE
WE TRIED OUR BEST
BUT FAITH DENIED US HAPPINESS

EXCEPT WHAT WE WANTED THE MOST...’’EACH OTHER’’......
IT RATHER LED US INTO LIFE ON THE OTHER PART OF THE WORLD
WHERE THERE WERE NO QUESTIONS IN OUR LOVE.......
NO DOUBTS IN OUR LIVES.......
NO TROUBLES IN OUR TOGETHERNESS.....
NO FAULTS IN TALKS......
NO SECOND THOUGHTS IN OUR DECISIONS......
NO WORRIES IN OUR BLESSINGS......
NO FEARS IN OUR RELATION.......
