We Honor You Today

We Honor You Today

To all of our US Veteran
Far and near
We thank you for your service
For all those years

Your sacrificed your time
 And some gave your life
You preserved our freedom
By willingly paying the price

Many of you
You were sent over seas
You were wounded in battle
With scars and disease

But, Courageous and brave
You weathered the storm
You faced every battle
With faith and beyond

We honor you with joy
For all that you've done
You stood strong for our country
For our daughters and sons

So, no one stands alone
We walk hand in hand
Remember we are with you
Together we shall stand

We salute you today
Hear what we say
Let our words speak eloquently
In this special way

On this Memorial Day!
Let us express our love and thanks
For the sacrifice you paid
You served in Honor
For many years and days
And we will never forget
How you we're strong and brave

What Legacy

What Legacy I Want To Leave Behind

We all are born for a purpose
to make a difference in this world
Shaped in every color and creed
we are created to teach learn and lead

It does matter what we say and do
Because if we know it or not
that every word has power to choose
Will your life be a light
That will shine through
every storm that you go through?
Will your life be the one who
will allow God to use?

Your life is a open book
for all the world to see
who do you want to reflect
that can change and affect?

You may know it or not
But there are people who are
watching your life to see what you do
Their footsteps are following the path
you choose

When the time comes that you
have to say good-bye
Will you truly be ready to leave
a legacy that will forever speak
a message that is loud and clear of who
you lived to serve?

Will you do everything you can to
show your love that God gave to you?
Love, mercy and grace is what this world needs
So, let’s try to reach out to the hungry and poor
With a heart of love and compassion and more
We are God's hands who He uses to feed

When it is all said and done
What will they say?
About the life you that you lead
Did it bring glory to God
Or did it point to you instead?
I don't know about you
But, I want to leave a legacy
That's honest and true
Who will lead many to Jesus
Who makes all things new

Unconditional Love

Unconditional Love

Unconditional love is like no other
It covers their sins and loves their brother
There's only one kind of love that will forgive
It can bring healing to help them live

When someone who hates you and treats you bad
Show them kindness and make them glad
Unconditional love is humbling indeed
But, be an example and sowing the seed

It isn't always easy to show this kind of love
You need the Holy Spirit our Father from above
He will give you the grace that you will need
Humble yourself and bow your knees

Remember God loved us before time began
He knew us in our mother’s womb and held us in His hands
Grace is God Riches at Christ Expense
Our sins to Him are now past tense

Sometimes it may cost you to show this kind of love
You may have to sacrifice your life but your rewards wait above
There are those who are now in Heaven who did the same
They we're persecuted and beaten for sake of Jesus Christ name

When we walk in the Spirit trust and obey
This is when our unconditional love will always pay
I love you no matter what you do or say
Joy will fill our hearts in a very special way

When we give our unconditional love each day
It could change a life and sometimes save
Let us be the Light for all to see
So they will come to Jesus and be set free

Love never fails it works for our good
Let us obey God's word and do what we should
Do you know someone who needs this love
Bring them to Jesus, but be gentle as a dove
