Jasmine Cisneros Poem
The cancellation of the world
In my hands, waiting for its turn
As it calms me on my worst day
Almost like it was a pray granted
The noises from the outside not to be heard
Only the figures of the flock of birds
Looking as if they were dancing to the melody in my ears
Or even if they were moping to the sight of my tears
As it was a way of expression through words
Wiping out my fears to my following peers
The music out to be inspired and clear
Not to be misinterpreted
A way of freedom
But only a in way pass
To the demon
Who never treated you like glass

Jasmine Cisneros Poem
Personal problems got the best of me
But sitting through it all isn't what it had to be
I was only 13 when I realized being by myself
Just wasn’t what i intended it was way more than just to end it
One night with the moon all bright with her blazing stars
Even that was never the start
Her light seeping through my window late at night
Though i was nervous, it was always out of fright
Even then i was never done with the fight
Sitting alone was a part of me people didn’t see
Though hiding away on top of the roof
Whilst I watched the owls “hoo”
Slowly the nights became longer
My problems had lessened
As i was getting stronger
It was no longer depression
Nights of the moon
Were always full
As i stood gazing upon the sky
Knowing it had changed my life
