Love

I need to know what pure love is
and that it is for real
My heart is so empty and I don't know how to feel.
Show me that you love me each and every day
Jesus please help me and find another way.
I' ve never known pure love and what it's supposed to do
I don't know how to act and receive love from you.
Jesus please help me to have the faith and to know that  your love is pure
lead me each day and open new doors/

The Cross

You carried the cross to bare my shame
and all I want to do is call out your name.
You washed away my pain and sin
and all I want to do is let you in.
You knew my heart and all that I feel
now all I want to do is know your love is  for real.
You wiped away my tears and shame
now all I want to do is be free again.
