Cathrine Bailey Poem
He sat glaring at the clock
risking the urge to fight the only way that you can
his mind whisked him away to an alternate existence without the persistence of the clocks tick tock
for one is a slave to time with its rigid demeanor
watching your life trickle away with every flick of its finger
a constant formality reminding one of their mortality
twisting a rope in his hand wanting time its self to disband
he screamed as he tried to ignore how the walls closed in and the ticking roared
he tightened the noose and stepped off the chair
hoping time couldn't follow him there

Cathrine Bailey Poem
Death is poetic
it's beautiful
it's the glorous defeat
it's the passionate redemption and the cowardly submission all at once
it's standing up and staying down at the same time
it's winning everything while losing everyone
it's the extacy of non-exsistance that makes ife so bright
People see death as the enemy when really it's the goal
for do we not see any greater sacrifce than to give your life for a cause?
without death life is meaning less
just an endless struggle
yet people paint death as destructive
Death is the Grand finally we are all holding our breath for
