Would You Still

WOULD YOU STILL?

You call me beautiful
Would you still?
If I unveil my decaying cracks and rotten scars
Would my messy acrid baggages be pleasant to your sight?

You desire to board my sailing Friend-Ship
Would you still?
When waters become shallow and runs low
Would you still?
When the turbulent storms of life puncture and wreck this ship

You are intrigued by my unending muse
Would you still?
If I let you inside the dark maze of my mind and expose my weird idiosyncrasies and
lewd thoughts
Would you still?
When the voices start taunting you

You wish to walk in my shoes
Would you still?
If you see the gory blisters and gashes I get from walking my walk
Would you still?
When my demons torment you into an abyss of nothingness

You are mesmerized by my demure facade
Would you still?
When I erupt like volcano and spew fiery venom
Would you still?
When I unleash the treacherous Chaos raging in me

You say "I love you"
Would you still?
When the chips are down and all my cards have been dealt
Would this love stand the test of time?

Alpha

Title:ALPHA
Poet:Mizdee aka bossdiva

I come from a land
where men are gods
and do no wrong
But to exist, a crime, as a woman

In my land
pundits abound, in all sizes
but a woman must be
a face without a voice

A land:
where men are groomed to lead
but a trimmed woman, like chameleon
must blend into the shades of his glory

In marital union
when conflicts arise
The alpha in him emerges
vanquisher of 'demons' that give her voice

Ever-changing times adorn him in a cloak of civilization
underneath beats the heart of a savage
left to chance
He'll seal her lips with padlock

Equally created, were they both
by the giver of life
to love, to cherish, to respect
but a corrupt seed was sown

Nevertheless:
On the dawn of truth,
a liberated woman will awake
to unlearn each dark lie
and speak, to the ears of the world...

Vicious Circle

Two perfect strangers
On a train heading nowhere
Aware life gets lonely
with no companion
He says "hello"
She replies "hi"

Smiles, like currency, are exchanged
Enthralled by her nature so exquisitely delicate
He yields to her subtle feminine power
Her resistance bows in the face of his masculine charm

Two hearts zings! Entwining
two souls becomes inseparable
Lost to a world of fantasy
Whispers of sweet-nothings
Anthem for their ears only
Hearts swell, fluttering like butterflies
Love flows, warm and free

or was it?....

Questioning head sits to think
As ephemeral pleasures evaporate into thin air
Love grows cold and sour
Scars remain while time heal
gashes of ripped souls....

A hurting stranger
Seeking redemption, meets another
He says "Hello"
She replies "Hi"
the vicious circle, like broken record, repeats...
