Margaret Sullivan Poem
He came at me so
then promised i'd know
To be broken and torn
One war and reborn
but not what he said
So shaking i aged
The very next day
a hundred years gone
So i'm tattered; unsure
Was i there ; does it matter
Why then am I sadder
but im telling it now
Don't be fooled and don't bow
and you'll last it's His will
Just like He taught you to kill
Breaking spirits that once lived
Offering notes to one song
Im buried so long
So don't believe if it's wrong
When he lied; when he lied
